John, Griffy and Patrick are at Notre Dame watching the Boston College game. At this point I do not know the outcome of the game but they are all having a great time together. Go Irish!

Griffy and Marley Rose are ouside St. James Church in California where Christy, our niece, and Terry were married. I had wanted to use this picture on my Christmas card but it didn't work. At least all can see it here.

Future High School Football Star

Today Alex is 13 years old! I can hardly believe it. Alex is the tall, handsome one in the middle. He, also, enjoys the guitar and has taught himself to play. We love to see him so passionate about his interests. He is a winner--and I would add "smart" and "sweet!"

Here are Patrick and Mary with Tony Stewart ONE hour before he raced--and won. Guess it's just another work day for him and no sign of nerves prior to going close to 200mph.

Future Conservative Leader

Today is Zack's 18th birthday! We are so proud of him. This picture was taken last Spring when he attended the Senate Leadership Conference. He was one of two students from North Carolina chosen to attend.

Today Donna is helping me with my blog. I can post messages but, so far, have not been able to put pictures on my blog. I will keep practicing!

We have left "At Ease", our house on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and are back in Springfield, Virginia. I will be putting our schedule on this blog for those of you who want to follow us. I will be practicing my writing, my pictures and my videos until we leave. For those of you who want to skip all of this "practice," just go to March 8th which is when our trip begins.
